For more than 50 years, Olympic Medical Center and    Olympic Memorial Hospital have provided exceptional health care for residents of Clallam County. OMC touches the lives of Clallam County residents in almost every aspect of their health care – new babies, broken bones, emergency medical services, cardiac care, surgical needs and cancer care, to name a few.

     Much of this has been made possible through the generous support of the Olympic Medical Center Foundation.

     The Foundation’s success has been due to the countless efforts of hundreds of local residents who represent outstanding examples of volunteerism.

     In 2004 the Foundation initiated a new program that has greatly aided the hospital’s quest to maintain its status as one of the highest rated medical centers in North America. We hope that you will become a part of the Team Olympic Medical Center Training Program.

     Team OMC is the ultimate volunteer experience. We first ask you to train to run a half marathon or marathon race. While doing so, we also ask you to raise money for the Medical Center’s Cardiac Care Department or the Sequim Cancer Center. If you choose, you can raise money on behalf of a patient, or it can be in memoriam.

     In return, we provide you with coaching and a mentor to help you train properly, and if you reach your fundraising minimum, we will cover all travel and accommodations to the North Olympic Discovery Marathon.

  • Marathon/Half Marathon.
  • A comprehensive training schedule.
  • Professional coaching, nutritional and training advice.
  • Fundraising materials and training sessions.

Your Commitment to OMC

  • To raise the designated amount of funds required to benefit the OMC
  • Cancer Center, or Cardiac Services, or any other hospital department.
  • Adhere to deadlines and team policies.
  • To run or walk the North Olympic Discovery Marathon/Half Marathon.

Team OMC also has programs with other races.
